i heart macro

Today I’m pulling from a photo taken last summer using my beloved Canon S90 point and shoot. Thought of selling it this past week since I now have a DSLR, but then pulled back and decided to hold onto this baby. I love it way too much and this compact camera has delivered a lot of fantastic shots.

  1. What vivid colors indeed Lori! I totally understand why you love this shot – it's amazing!! It's tough to let go of things that have served you so well -so I say hang on to it – you just never know when it might come in handy again some day!

  2. That is a really yummy photo. I like using my little camera too. I can't bear to part with it because I can tote it around in my purse while I can't with the big canon. Thanks for hosting as always!

  3. If I ever do get a DSLR, I'll still keep my point and shoot. It's great to have something lightweight to grab quickly.Your shot is beautiful! You're right about the vivid colors. The one that you picked is amazing, too. Stunning detail.I'll link up tomorrow. 🙂 (Also, FYI, I got my leather scraps yesterday. Thanks!)
